“There is no candidate more qualified to chair the National Transportation Safety Board than Jennifer Homendy. Homendy was first confirmed by the Senate as a member of the NTSB in 2018, and is fiercely devoted to improving and enhancing safety across all modes of transportation. If confirmed by the Senate, Homendy would bring more than 25 years of transportation safety advocacy to this position. She has a deep grasp of the complexities of America’s multi-modal network and understands the important role frontline workers play in ensuring the safety and security of our transportation system.
“We applaud President Biden’s nomination and urge the Senate to quickly confirm Homendy as Chair of the NTSB.”
