WASHINGTON – On behalf of our 39 affiliated labor unions, the Transportation Trades Department, AFL-CIO (TTD) issued the following statement ahead of the expected House Floor vote on the Continuing Resolution (CR) to fund the government:
“As the end of the fiscal year approaches and Congress considers an extension of funding for transportation programs, we call for funding important highway, transit, bridge, rail, maritime, port, airport, and other transportation and infrastructure programs at levels at least in line with FY 26 enacted funding. That should include funding at the cumulative levels achieved through advance appropriations for programs that received such predictable funds in the previous surface transportation reauthorization bill.”
