As Americans across the country venture out during the busiest travel time of the year to gather with friends and loved ones, we hope they will take a moment to recognize the transportation employees who make the holidays possible. Represented by TTD’s 32 affiliated unions, the men and women who work on the frontlines operating, maintaining and building our nation’s transportation network are the people who get families to their destinations safely and comfortably. They’re the people who make sure our goods and products get to consumers and businesses. And they’re the people that power the transportation system that is a lifeline to our economy. Without their contributions, our economy could not function and navigating our congested transportation system during holidays would be that much harder. Thank a transportation worker.
