Ed Wytkind, president of the TTD, discusses crumbling infrastructure in the United States and its impact on working people, the economy and, yes, even business, on The Rick Smith Show.
“It’s not just simply the jobs that are idling on the sidelines because we aren’t investing in transit and highways to build and modernize these systems — but there are a lot of businesses in this country that are seeing their own growth stifled by the inability to move people and goods throughout the economy,” Wytkind said on the air. “We also have transit systems that are dying from budget problems, at a time when people are demanding more transit services.”
