“Working people will lose a fierce advocate when Rep. George Miller retires in 2015. Throughout his astounding 40 years of public service, George Miller has had made it his mission to lift the lives of ordinary Americans and carry their voices to the House chamber.
“George Miller will always be remembered for his visible battles on behalf of working people and for his view that federal policies should create and protect good jobs. That is why the legacy of George Miller will always be linked to the great American ideal that strong unions and collective bargaining provide working people the clearest path to safe, middle-class jobs.
