There’s an enormous need for investment in America’s transportation infrastructure, and the key this year will be ensuring that such investment actually happens. “The real solution is to try to engage the public because Congress is afraid of the voters. And when they think retributions are ahead for inaction, that’s when they act,” Ed explains. “If we don’t make transportation an electoral issue, we fail, because then they do the same old thing and nothing happens.”
