As TTD’s Legislative Representative, Jeff Pavlak works primarily on public transit, highway, freight, maritime and infrastructure finance issues.
Originally from Chicago, Jeff attended DePaul University where he studied political science and urban policy. Following years of working on transportation, labor, and housing issues for labor organizations, non-profits, and TTD, Jeff returned to school and received his Master of Public Policy from Duke University in 2013. He has since returned to TTD as Legislative Representative.
As TTD’s Administrative Assistant, Brooke supports TTD’s president, secretary-treasurer, and legislative staff. Brooke handles the officers’ scheduling and much of TTD’s document preparation. She has worked at TTD since 1999.
Originally from Oregon, Brooke attended the University of Oregon.
Greg Regan is TTD’s Senior Legislative Representative. He oversees TTD’s policy work in aviation, passenger rail, and transportation manufacturing and Buy America. Greg has also coordinated TTD’s work to reform transportation procurement policy, most notably as the main liaison to the Jobs to Move America Coalition.
Before joining TTD, Greg spent six years working for Congresswoman Louise Slaughter (D-NY), advising her on a variety of issues, including labor, trade, defense, energy, and homeland security. For the latter three years, he served as the Congresswoman’s Chief of Staff.
Originally from Rochester, New York, Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts in public policy from Hamilton College. He is an avid golfer, hockey player, canner, brewer, and supporter of (mostly) losing sports teams.
As TTD’s Administrator, Shari Semelsberger assists the Secretary-Treasurer in the day-to-day financial operations of the organization, managing TTD’s accounts, budget, and human resources. She also plans TTD’s two annual Executive Committee meetings. She has worked with TTD since 1999.
Shari holds a Bachelor of Arts in union administration from the National Labor College. Her interest in the labor movement stems from a long history of family involvement in unions going back all the way to her great-grandfather.
As Policy Representative, Andrea Wohleber tracks and oversees TTD’s regulatory work across all modes of transportation and coordinates with TTD’s affiliated unions to file comments in relevant proceedings. She also takes the lead on TTD’s policy work on intercity, charter, and school bus workforce and safety issues.
Prior to joining TTD, Andrea served as a Legislative Assistant to Congresswoman Betty Sutton (D-OH), representing her hometown district and specializing in transportation issues.
Andrea studied political science and American history at Hiram College, a liberal arts school in Northeast Ohio whose previous leadership includes former U.S. President James A. Garfield. Originally from Lorain, Ohio, she is entirely unfazed by DC winters.
